Supersuar!

Super Sweet Science :By Nayan Patel

Some people think that T-rex is the strongest predator, but did you know whenever it took a drink it was in danger? Lipleradon was an ambush predator. It could get up to be 60 meters and live to 100 years old! Lipleradon had different, tusk-sized teeth. These preyed on T-rex, raptors and even other Lipleradon! Lipleradon was a marine reptile and fiercely territorial. This monster’s reign of terror ended when the dinosaurs went extinct!

Q. What does it mean if you find a horseshoe in the middle of the road?
          A. Some poor little horse is walking around in it’s socks! (Hahahahahaha!)

Dear G ‘n’ G!

Dear G ‘n’ G,

My teacher lets me choose if I want to try the challenge words for spelling for extra credit. I could use the extra points, but it’s extra work that I don’t want to do! What should I do? -Simon

Dear Simon,

This is really up to you. Your heart will tell you one thing, but your brain will tell you another. Personally, I think you should do it. It’s just a few extra words. Just take a minute every night to study those words. Or, every time you say that word, spell it out. It’s good for your grade. It won’t hurt your grade if the bonus words are spelled wrong. Do what you think! -G ‘n G

Not so long ago, Passenger Pigeons were killed off by people.  They were very numerous but the last pigeon died in captivity.  So, scientists are using Passenger Pigeon DNA and Longtail Pigeon eggs to bring them back!  They are being recreated with Passenger Pigeon DNA!  People know that it is like Jurassic Park but there is no dinosaur DNA.

Dear G ‘n’ G,

I am not organized. My desk is always messy. How can I make time to clean it with such a busy schedule? -Chris P.

Dear Chris,

Ask your teacher if you can take some time out of 1st recess to clean it. I know it may seem terrible, but it’s really not. And don’t just throw stuff in your desk, it’s not a race. Instead, take the time to put it away neatly. And when you’re cleaning out your desk, throw away stuff you don’t need. Remember, don’t be a hoarder!
